If you have a child who is 4 or 5 in 2022 and interested in rugby then come along to our Try Rugby Day on Saturday the 7th of May at Beauchamp Park, Nicholson Street, Chatswood.

About Mighty 5’s Tag Rugby

The Mighty U5 program is a fun, safe, no-contact introduction to rugby that emphasises maximum enjoyment for players and families.

We engage players during the session using fun coaching cues to help them understand each skill. The program rotates between drills, finishing with a modified game.
Some skills they will learn and improve include:

  • Catch/pass
  • Running with the ball
  • Tagging/defense
  • Game play
  • Field boundaries
  • Respect for teammates and referees

Season Details

  • This season we are running 2 x 7 weeks programs starting 1 May 2021 and then again in Term 3
  • During the school holidays we take a break
  • Families may opt to pay for only 1 session of 7 weeks or purchase both sessions at a discount
  • Cost: $120 for the first 7 week program PLUS $80 if you take up the optional second 7 week program
  • The fees cover the professional coaches, insurance, ground hire, and the players gear as supplied by your club
  • When: Saturday mornings @ 9:30am
  • Where: Beauchamp Park, Nicholson Street, Chatswood

How to Register for Mighty 5’s Tag Rugby

Steps to register:

    1. Go to Rugby Xplorer and login or create an account for you and your child https://myaccount.rugbyxplorer.com.au/
    2. Once account is open or created select who you would like to register i.e. your child
    3. Choose which club you are registering for e.g. “Chatswood Junior Rugby”
    4. Select the following Registration Type:
      • Modified Rugby
      • Little Rugby
      • Season

This adds one 7 week session to your order for $120

  1. Upload profile photo (optional)
  2. Add any additional details
  3. Add an Emergency Contact
  4. Choose to add a “Saleable Item”
    • If you are participating in both 7 week sessions (i.e. for a full 14 week program, total cost $200) please enter “1” in quantity. This adds $80 to your order
    • If you are only participating in one 7 week session, click “Next”
  5. Apply your Active Kids voucher details (if eligible) at the payment stage
