This section contains information from the Sydney Junior Rugby Union (SJRU) who run the game in the Junior age groups (U10+).

  • Competition Playing Rules – this PDF is all of the rules that govern the competition. This is the latest version available, released in 2016.
  • Match Day Manual – this short PDF document is loaded with useful information. Everything you need to know to host, setup and run a match in the Junior age groups (U10+). This is the latest version available, released in 2016.
  • Form 34 – Match Amendment Request – this form is to be completed by Team Manager’s when a game needs to be deferred for any reason and following discussion and agreement with your opponents. For example, the game might be scheduled on a Friday before the school holidays when most of the team is away. This document is to be completed and submitted to Lyndon Burke, our club secretary at secretary@chatswoodjuniorrugby.com.au. Lyndon will submit it on your team’s behalf.
  • Form 32 – Regrading Request – the SJRU competition is a graded competition with multiple grades in each age group. The concept being that all teams in a grade are equally matched in terms of skills and ability. The SJRU will initially grade all teams and there is a regrade process prior to round 4 of the season to re-assign grades if necessary. This form is to be completed by Team Manager’s after round 2 if they feel their team is in the wrong grade. The SJRU will assess the request and if approved your team will move after round 4. This document is to be completed and submitted to Lyndon Burke, our club secretary at secretary@chatswoodjuniorrugby.com.au. Lyndon will submit it on your team’s behalf.
